Jake Tapper '91, the chief Washington correspondent for CNN, wrote The Outpost, his 2012 bestseller, to highlight what he termed the "deep-rooted inertia of military thinking." The Outpost is available on demand through Eventive.

"The Outpost gets it crucially right by bringing home the meaning of heroism as a collective action. The you-are-there ferocity of the battle sequences, brilliantly abetted by the prowling, handheld camerawork of Lorenzo Senatore, ranks with the best interpretations of combat on film. Your nerves will be shattered, guaranteed." --Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

The Outpost is free for Dartmouth Students, and it is available on demand through Eventive. Log in as usual, get your ticket, and in your Order Confirmation email from the Hop Box Office, you'll receive links and instructions to watch the film.
