Rollins Chapel
Intended Audience(s): Public
Categories: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Spiritual & Worship

We realize that many on campus have never seen the inside of Rollins Chapel.  Come on Thursday, Jan. 26thfrom noon-4 to get a tour of the space and learn about its history.  Join us at 5pm as we rededicate the Chapel as a sanctuary and refuge for all journeys of the spirit.  There will be student reflections and lots of music, including the Gospel Choir.

When the COVID pandemic hit, the College was forced to close Rollins Chapel since it lacked a mechanical ventilation system or windows that open to provide outdoor air into the space.  In addition to addressing the ventilation issue in Rollins, the College also upgraded the heating system from steam to hot water to be much more energy efficient (and quiet!).

Now that the work is completed, Rollins Chapel is once again a safe and quiet venue for individual and group devotional use as well as other appropriate College events.
