Elizabeth Reddy is faculty at Colorado School of Mines. She is the author of the forthcoming book Alerta! Engineering on Shaky Ground, in which she ethnographically follows the design and use of an earthquake early warning system in Mexico. In her visit, during Spring, Dr. Reddy will be sharing some of her methodological insights about bringing the social sciences, geosciences, engineering and risk management together.
