Adapted by Nobel prize-winning novelist Kazuo Ishiguro and based on Akira Kurosawa's 1952 masterpiece, Ikiru, Living tells the story of a British public works bureaucrat who receives a terminal diagnosis. With the thread of his life cut short, he explores strands heretofore unexperienced. Nominated for Best Lead Actor at the 2023 Academy Awards, Billy Nighy delivers a soulful, inward performance as a man with nothing to lose by doing the right thing.
