Undergraduate Showcases

Each spring, we celebrate undergraduate research, scholarship, and creativity in a series of events at which students share their work and experiences with members of the Dartmouth community.

All events that are open to the public are posted on the Dartmouth Events Calendar as soon as they are scheduled.

Dean of the Faculty Honors Dinner

By invitation only. Senior Fellows, newly-elected members of Phi Beta Kappa, and seniors who have completed a Senior Honors Thesis, along with their faculty advisors, are invited to this special celebration.

Karen E. Wetterhahn Science Symposium

The annual Wetterhahn Science Symposium, established in 1992 and named for the late Karen E. Wetterhahn, co-founder of the Women In Science Project, provides an opportunity for any Dartmouth undergraduate conducting scientific research to present a poster showcasing their work. The Symposium takes place each May and is open to the public. Dartmouth especially welcomes high school science teachers and their students to the event to expand their educational horizons and aspirations while interacting with Dartmouth students.

Senior Honors Thesis Showcase

Produced and hosted by the President's Office each May, the Senior Honors Thesis Showcase allows graduating seniors who have completed Senior Honors Thesis projects to share their outstanding work with the public through presentations and posters.

Arts at Dartmouth Awards Ceremony

Since the early 1970s, the annual Arts at Dartmouth Award Ceremony has been celebrating the talent and accomplishments of undergraduate students who have excelled in the arts, delighting audiences with great musical, theater and dance performances and marvelous film and video during their time at Dartmouth. Attendees are also treated to remarks from an invited keynote speaker working in the arts. The Arts at Dartmouth Awards Ceremony takes place each May and is open to the public.
