The Hop is thrilled to be featured in the Kennedy Center's Arts Across America series, which showcases artists whose work is integral to the culture of their region. The Hop collaborates with the West Claremont Center for Music and the Arts to honor Indigenous Peoples' Day. Through excerpts from the work of Dartmouth Alum Mali Obomsawin '18, an Abenaki musician and member of the acclaimed folk group Lula Wiles, and Cuban-American composer and scholar José Lezcano, this program celebrates Indigenous and immigrant peoples' contributions to the Upper Valley and to the musical traditions these artists practice.
