Born in Liberty City, Miami, Curiel is a Dominican-American performer with a thriving film and TV career. He has starred in America Adrift, Monsters and Men, Night Comes On, Critical Thinking and more. Best known for his role as "Lil Papi" on the Emmy-nominated FX drama Pose, Curiel charmed audiences as a young and earnest member of the House of Evangelista. Curiel discusses his experiences in the industry, acting as a craft and Afrolatinidad on screen and in American popular culture. Jordan McDonald '21, a cultural worker and essayist with writing in Huffington Post, Artsy, Bitch Media, Teen Vogue and Film Cred, facilitates the conversation with questions from the Dartmouth community.
