Spring 2023 Dartmouth Dance Ensemble (dance performance)

The lush greenery of the outdoor amphitheater sets a spectacular scene for a new, site-specific work from the group.

The ensemble moves its annual May concerts from the Moore Theater to the beautiful outdoor venue, sharing an eclectic program of new works by established and emerging choreographers. Director John Heginbotham, Choreographer-in-Residence Rebecca Stenn, Guest Choreographer Trebien Pollard and Ensemble Member Choreographers Jessica Volan Trout-Haney GR '17 Faculty, Rachel Hsu '23 and Roman Olavarria '23 will present original dances. Sometimes whimsical and rhythm-driven, sometimes solemn with an eye on twilight, these works feature the talented and heartful members of the DDE.
