Judges play powerful and sometimes controversial roles in American democratic politics.  To provide insight into the American judiciary, three distinguished alumni judges – Associate Justice James P. Bassett ’78 of New Hampshire, Associate Justice Anne M. Patterson '80 of New Jersey, and Judge Christopher Keating ’86 of New Hampshire – will share their unique insights from the bench.  This event, the Rockefeller Center’s Roger S. Aaron ’64 Lecture, is hosted by Professor Herschel Nachlis and moderated by Professor Julie Kalish ’91, and will feature a substantial time for student Q&A.  A private student dinner with limited seats follows the event
