Wes Anderson goes west!

With a retinue of stars too extensive to list (Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson, to name a couple), Wes Anderson takes to the American West. In a fictional city circa 1955, a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention gathers. Parents and children are poised to scour the night skies when a sudden alien encounter disrupts their itinerary. With an intergalactic twist on typical Anderson fare, Asteroid City ventures into cosmic, dreamy places heretofore unexplored by the revered filmmaker.

With opening remarks from Astrophysics graduate student Emily Boudreaux and a post-screening star-gazing party on the Dartmouth Green.
