Monday Sept. 18 at 5 pm. Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Political Economy Project. Carson L01.
A spate of recent books blames economists and their ideas for society’s ills, from fiscal austerity to growing inequality. Are economists just an easy target, or is there something to these critiques? Doug Irwin, the John French Professor of Economics at Dartmouth and co-founder of the Political Economy Project, will kick off another academic year by exploring these questions.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
