Now in a stunning 50th anniversary 4k restoration, this seminal British folk horror film welcomes viewers to the remote Scottish enclave of Summerisle. Sergeant Howie (Edward Woodward) has received an anonymous report that a girl has gone missing on the island, but when he arrives, the wary residents deny she ever existed. An eerie mystery unfolds plunging Howie deep into the pagan rituals practiced by the small, isolated community. A case study in the dangers of shared delusions and a landmark in '70s freak-out cinema, The Wicker Man's rapturous, combustible conclusion has seared its indelible mark on the history of cinema.
