Milton Friedman, one of the most influential economists of the late 20th century, had close ties to Dartmouth College and the Upper Valley.
Prof. Doug Irwin (John French Professor of Economics at Dartmouth) will briefly discuss Friedman's contributions to economics and public policy and his relationship to Dartmouth. The talk takes place the day before Jennifer Burns of Stanford University discusses her much-anticipated intellectual biography of Friedman here on campus--on the very day of its publication.
Monday November 13 at 5 pm in Carpenter 13.
Free and open to the public, sponsored by the Political Economy Project.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
