At its Commencement each June, Dartmouth bestows honorary degrees upon distinguished individuals whose extraordinary achievements have advanced the arts and humanities, the sciences, business and industry, and public service in its broadest sense. The honors conferred include Doctorates of Arts, Humane Letters, Laws, Letters, Literature, and Science.
