--------------------

The COVID-19 pandemic has deepened many social and health inequities. For
populations facing housing insecurity, the pandemic created particular
challenges because congregate settings, including shelters, posed a high risk
for transmission of COVID. In this seminar, we’ll learn from experts in
public health and law about creative policy efforts to prioritize the health of
vulnerable populations as well as opportunities and challenges in translating
these efforts into more durable change.

Join Dr. Manish K. Mishra and Prof. Elizabeth Carpenter-Song in exploring the
role of humanities in medicine with special guests Anne N Sosin, MPH, and
Maryellen Griffin, J.D.
