Hank Clark (Program Director, Political Economy Project) discusses how revisionist findings in pre-industrial labor history illuminate the condition of workers today.
The usual way of looking at modern workers is through the narratives of Labor History. Through that lens, the dominant themes have been exploitation, resistance, solidarity, and emancipation. Hank Clark discusses a revisionist history, which treats workers more as adaptive individuals.
The event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Political Economy Project.
Tuesday Oct 4 at 5 pm in Rocky 3
