Intended Audience(s): Public

Inspired by his own childhood growing up in a Jewish family in post-WWII America, this film is perhaps one of Spielberg's most personal projects to date and explores the power of movies to help us see the truth about each other and ourselves.

Co-written by Spielberg and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner, The Fabelmans features a stunning ensemble cast, including Gabriel LaBelle (The Predator) as 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker Sammy Fabelman; Michelle Williams as his artistic mother; Paul Dano as his successful, scientific father; Seth Rogen as the honorary "uncle" to the Fabelman children. Add another classic John Williams score, and you've got a perfect celebration of movie magic! D: Steven Spielberg, US, 2022, 2h31m
