This collection of 10 international shorts from the 2023 Dance Camera West festival is a buffet of visual and aural delight. In moods ranging from contemplative to explosive, this new program showcases the diverse, creative interplay between film and the body in motion. Hailing from six different countries, these shorts share in a profound gestural language heightened by sound, editing and cinematography. Often with few words spoken and dance as their primary vehicle, each film conveys vast stories and immense emotions in enthralling, spectacular fashion. Seize this rare opportunity to witness these hand-selected, breathtaking dance films presented as a single program.
