Women in Engineering Day at Dartmouth

Dartmouth's Society of Women Engineers will be hosting demos and interactive activities in various engineering disciplines for middle and high schoolers.

Event Schedule: 

  • 9:30am: Continental breakfast and refreshments 
  • 9:45am: Welcome and introduction
  • 10:00am: Activity Circuit #1 (20 minutes per station, 3 activities)
  • 11:00am: Lunch, Meet and Greet with program participants and Dartmouth undergrads!
  • 12:00noon: Activity Circuit #2 (20 minutes per station, 3 activities)
  • 1:00pm: Women in Engineering Panel Discussion
  • 1:30pm: Q&A and Trivia
  • 1:45pm: Closing Remarks
  • 2:00pm: End of day

  • Civil and Structural Engineering: Spaghetti Challenge
  • Sustainable Energy and Electrical: Experiment with Hydropower and Arduino
